The quote “it may even be in our time” comes from H.G. Wells’s War of the Worlds, spoken by an unnamed man when contemplating the humans’ rebellion against the Invaders, and the idea of ruling the world using the Martian’s technology. The negative connotation of the idea is abandoned for the purposes of the blog, instead using the phrase as a hopeful message of revolution and exciting change for a brighter tomorrow.
