Wow, Bill Gates Must Hate Me

I learned that if I Google the phrase “Don’t buy a 360″ in quotation marks, the very first link is my blog. Is this the message I’ve been conveying to people? I mean, the article it links to isn’t even telling people not to buy a 360, but rather is a complaint about something Microsoft customer service did.
Wow. I guess I really am severely biased against the 360. I suppose since all I really want for it is Bioshock and Mass Effect. If I wanted more games on it, I might be less inclined to dismiss it.
Such is life.
You learn something bizarre every day.

I’ve had the same experience with my blog. For instance, I mention Tunesquare probably one time and when I look at my blog stats people searched Google for tunesquare and my blog came up. The weird thing is that when I Google that I can’t find my website. The same thing with people searching “Ubuntu”.

@iPC: It fluctuates from day to day, of course, and sometimes from hour to hour–especially on topics like Ubuntu and violence in games and whatever it is that someone might websearch for both your and my site.
Not to mention there’s other search engines out there–not just Google. Shock!
But some terms–like Eve Online–seem to be permanently linked to my site.
Not that I mind all that much. It’s kind of cool.
