Forseeing the Future – The White PS3

Prediction Number Two has been fulfilled.

PS3 Fanboy has shown some amazing accuracy in predicting the movements of the market so far. I’m keeping my eyes and ears open for Predictions Three and Four (which we’re getting hints of already), and once the end of 2008 comes around, we’ll know the full extend of their clairvoyant powers.

@Ryan: Looks about the same size from what I saw.
I really don’t mind the size all too much. Consider the size of the Xbox 360–it’s not that much smaller than the PS3. And the PS3 is CERTAINLY smaller than the old, clunky original Xbox. Yet I don’t remember hearing too many complaints about the Xbox Brick. Maybe one or two.

I think the complaints about the PS3′s size are mostly all products of an amazing social phenomena called the “bandwagon effect”. When people see other people conforming to a particular behavior or attitude, psychologically they want to do it, too. It’s innate human nature, developed through our growing experience along with the rest of our social tools.
